This study analyzes concerns and health behaviors in patients with vasculitis during the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic in North America. It was found that patients with vasculitis changed how they interact with their health care providers in order to avoid in person appointments. Almost half of patients with vasculitis had a telehealth visit during the pandemic in lieu of an office visit. This study is important because it seeks to understand the challenges of patients living with a chronic autoimmune disease, such as vasculitis.
